2021 Anakota Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
“The winter of 2021 brought very cool temperatures and below-average rainfall to Northern California, marking a second straight year of drought. To ensure equilibrium between the vines and our Knights Valley soils, careful pruning was performed throughout the winter months. Budbreak and flowering occurred slightly later than normal due to cool weather through March and April, but the summer months warmed up beautifully, delivering an exceptional growing season. September’s harvest produced concentrated and thick-skinned berries, with sugars and acids in ideal balance.”
